Intruducing the Biggest Innovation in Preventing Pet Obesity Since Diet Food – C+Bite

Obesity in dogs and cats is the greatest threat to the health and well-being of our companion animals.

We developed C+Bite and C+BiteMini to help dog and cat owners give their pets a longer life in health.

A Patented GLP-1 Supplement, Developed in Sweden

C+Bite is a 100% natural, Swedish-developed supplement designed to support healthy weight management in dogs and cats.

Given before meals, its oat beta-glucan helps promote satiety and supports the body’s natural GLP-1 response – making it easier to manage portions and reduce hunger, without changing your pet’s regular food.

Helping the
dog/cat owner.

Today, managing overweight in dogs and cats largely comes down to diet and exercise. But even with dedicated weight-management diets, hunger and food-seeking behaviour can make long-term success difficult for both pets and their owners.

C+Bite adds a new tool. Given before meals, its natural oat beta-glucan supports satiety and the body’s natural GLP-1 response – helping pets feel fuller and making it easier for owners to stick to recommended portions and successfully complete a weight-management program.

C+Bite works alongside the pet’s existing diet – helping turn weight management into a routine that is easier to follow and maintain.

How C+Bite Works

Dosage.

Weigh your dog or cat to find out how many Bites they should have each day.

The daily dosage is 1 gram per kilogram of body weight. This means that a dog weighing 10 kg should have one C+BiteMini before each meal.

Preload.

Give your dog or cat half of the daily dose 30 minutes before their morning and evening meals to maximize the preload effect.

This increases satiety and triggers the body’s metabolic response earlier.

Food.

Feed your dog or cat their regular food, or as recommended by your veterinarian.

Treatment.

C+Bite and C+BiteMini should be used for at least 90 days, or as recommended by your veterinarian, to achieve the best results.

As a veterinarian, I see many overweight dogs and cats where traditional weight-management diets have failed, leaving their owners struggling to find effective ways to help their pets.

That’s why we developed C+Bite – to provide better support for healthy weight management and give pets a better chance of achieving and maintaining a healthy weight.

the active component in c+bite

Beta-glucan

Beta-glucan is a dietary fiber naturally found in grains and fungi.

In humans, beta-glucan is one of the few dietary fibers recognized by authorities such as EFSA and the FDA for its documented effects on cholesterol and blood glucose levels. Its potential role in weight management has also been extensively studied.

C+Bitei contains beta-glucan and has been shown to increase the production of short-chain fatty acids (SCFAs) in the colon.

These fatty acids can contribute to increased satiety and metabolic balance by stimulating the release of satiety hormones and influencing fat storage. SCFAs also have local anti-inflammatory and protective effects in the gut. Studies have further associated low levels of SCFAs with obesity in dogs.

Canine Health Improving Products

Our purpose is to provide pet owners and veterinarians with trusted products with proven efficacy.

Canine Health Improving Products (CHIP) was founded at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU) by Oskar Norstedt, then a veterinary student, together with partners who recognized the need for evidence-based products that help veterinarians provide the best possible care for dogs.

CHIP also aims to make scientific research more accessible and to clearly explain how different products work and why they can benefit canine health.

Our goal is to develop products and solutions that help dogs live longer, healthier lives while providing veterinarians with effective tools to support the best possible care for their patients.
